Reading Festival 2019 – Additional Artists Announced

Reading Festival 2019 - Additional Artists AnnouncedAs usual both the Reading Festival is set to be another rockin’ year.  With top bands on the line up year in and year out, this year is no different. However you feel about the festivals past, this year is said to be one of the best yet but, I will let you make up your own minds.

The Reading festival held at Richfield Avenue is one of my most frequented festivals. We used to live about 40 minutes away and so there was no reason not to go. We loved every single year that we went. Don’t get me wrong, there were some bands that we didn’t like but hey, you cannot please everyone all of the time!

So, if you haven’t seen the line up yet for Reading festival 2019 then take a look below;

Friday 23rd August 2019

Headliners –  Headlining you have The 1975 who are a fabulous band who came out of nowhere. An innocuous band who seem to have taken the world by storm with their unique sound and charming ways. Before the 1975 you will find the amazing Royal Blood. With their fresh sound these lads are going the distance. We first saw them supporting Foo Fighters and now look at them, selling out their own gigs and on the man stage at Reading bleeding Festival!

Other Acts – Before the headlining artists, here are some of the other bands you will be able to see – The Wombats, You Me At Six, Charlie XCX and the Scottish Duo Twin Atlantic.

Saturday 24th August 2019

Headliners – Make way for Twenty One Pilots who are currently touring the UK with the festival being one of their stops. Before them you will be able to watch Blossoms who are an Indie band from Manchester UK.

Other Acts – Why not try and catch AJ Tracey, The Hunna, Against The Current and Alma who are all on the main stage.

Sunday 24th August 2019

Hands down (in my opinion anyway) the best day of the whole festival!

Headliner – This band is my absolute favourite and needs no introduction. If you are at the festival then you need to make your way to the main stage to witness the fantabulous Foo Fighters in the flesh. Sod everyone else!! With hits that everyone who listens to music will  know and sing along to. Fun and edgy there is no reason not to like them! If you see only one band the whole weekend, make it the Foos.

Other Acts – who pale in comparison although they themselves are pretty awesome – Bastille, enter : shikari, The distillers and The Story So Far.

These are just a few of the bands that have been announced so far. There are so many to see that it is not possible to get bored even for one second!

If you want to see the full line up or want to grab yourself some tickets to Reading Festival 2019 then click here to be taken to the official website.
